Cloud Business Development Manager

SaaSplaza, the world’s leading Microsoft Dynamics and Azure Services provider, is looking to hire an enthusiastic Cloud Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of the business. 


As a Cloud Business Manager you are responsible for developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales for our leading Cloud services on Azure offering.

Your goals:

• This is a consultative and hunting sales position specifically targeting national and multinational organizations with regional or global decision making
• Required to sell the full SaaSplaza Cloud portfolio including Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, and associated managed services for Dynamics and Azure solutions
• You will work with Microsoft and our mutual partners to drive customer adoption helping to fuel the growth of our managed services business

Your responsibilities also include:

• Identify direct customer leads and opportunities to expand the pipeline
• Close sales by building rapport with potential Partners and Customers; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts
• Interact with the assigned portfolio of Partners such that SaaSplaza is regarded as the Trusted and Preferred Partner for Dynamics and Azure Cloud Services
• Proactively reach out and assist Partners in the successful deployment of their Cloud proposition
• Coordinate pre-sales assistance in the delivery of effective proposals to the prospects and Customers
• Coordinate together with the Marketing Manager to ensure optimal lead generation and optimal use of marketing tools in the assigned territory working in cross-functional teams
• Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding opportunity requirements
• Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
• Contribute to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from Partners and Customers. Create positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies, case studies and white papers enhancing our brand awareness and cohesive messaging to the market
• Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Some travel required: 30%

Your experience & skills:

• Proven client experience across multiple industries including Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Retail and Professional Services organizations
• Proven Cloud, and specifically Microsoft Azure, business development experience.
• Executive presence and ease working with senior roles within prospective customers (IT/CxO/VP)
• Presentation Skills, Internal Communications, Excellent Verbal Communication, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Persistence, Meeting Sales Goals

Background & qualifications:

• College graduate, Masters a plus, technical, business or marketing preferred
• Affinity with technology, especially Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Hosted ERP and CRM solutions - Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Team player, but also comfortable working without close supervision
• Motivated and proactive, accurate, organized and reliable
• Driven with an undeniable ‘can-do’ attitude
• 5-10 years of experience selling Cloud solutions or enterprise software
